Havel

Look at that plain-faced man with
his prim rep tie and pointy collar.
O, how I loved his astonishment
when I flew right out of the wall
of this building a tad above eye level—
woke him out of his plain-faced stupor
just before he turned the corner and
nearly knocked over the little lady

with the walker.
You see, I’m a brick,
yeah, that’s it, just a plain-faced
yellow brick myself, only I’m
different—I have ears, eyes (yes,
I guess you know this since I
commented on stuporman), and

also wings.
Right now I’m in flight to
Washington, D.C. to listen
to Vaclav Havel give a speech
on the Mall. I was in Prague
when he led The Velvet Revolution.
I hear he’s gonna appear in
red sneakers. Love

that guy!
